Want to perform?
We'd love to hear from you! To help streamline our administration for FUN, please contact us using the form below and let us know a few details including things such as:
1. About yourself: name(s), act name, local or visiting?
2. Contact details: mobile phone, home phone, email address?
3. Act details: singing? dancing? instrument(s)? solo or group?
4. Whether you're applying for a spot act, support act or main act spot?
5. Requirements: electricity supply? number of microphones? dance space required?
We encourage all performances types but particularly encourage those that enhance cross-cultural understanding and that promote strong healthy communities. We believe that everyone has a voice or a talent to share and we want to create a safe space where people can do this in comfort. We encourage all to respect each other's input in whatever language or tradition. Ultimately, it is not so much about the fun we have or the beautiful music that is created in the concert, but about the stories we can share and the relationships that we can build.
Whilst we really do appreciate all artistic contributions, with rare exception, there are no performance fees paid to artists. The entire proceeds of the concert go towards meeting the costs of the Uniting Church, allowing it to continue its wonderful work in the community, including many community initiatives such as the Food Truck Program.
All musical genres and performance styles are encouraged but acts must be suitable for general family viewing. We particularly welcome acts that promote cross-cultural understanding in both traditional and modern forms.
